This is a vintage Robeson Shuredge 3-blade Serpentine Stockman with the old Strawberry Bone handles that weas not used very much. It measures 3.3/8 closed. The main blade tang is stamped, ROBESON SHUREDGE U. (SEE PICTURES, STAMPS ARE VERY DEEP AND CLEAR). It was made between 1911 and 1940.
The main blade is also stamped on the back side 633880. 2 blades are full, razor-sharp main blade sharpened some.
All 3 blades have pretty good snap and sit right in both the open and closed positions, tight and right! The handle scales are beautiful Strawberry bone (really nice jigging) with absolutely no cracks or chips and steel liners and steel pins. It has a beautiful nickel silver pinned ROBESON oval shield. It has beautiful shiny and slanted front and rear nickel silver bolsters with no scratches or dings. This is a very rare and great pattern, bone and shield. Please let me know if you have any questions and thank you for looking. Check out my other knives I have listed. I do list daily so check back often.
